Hi there! I’m Brigitte and I started Barn & Beyond as know how challenging it can be to find reliable care for your animals when you're planning a getaway.

 I’ve always had a deep love and respect for animals. Growing up, I was surrounded by pets and farm animals, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue something that involved working with them. Over the years, I worked at several horse barns, gaining hands-on experience with caring for horses and other animals. Additionally, I managed a pet store for a handful of years, where I expanded my knowledge of animal care. This experience, combined with my passion, led me to earn my Agriculture Diploma in 2019.

Horses have always held a special place in my heart, and barrel racing continues to be a passion of mine. I still compete today,  with my Quarter Horses Levi and Sonny. Whether I’m training, racing, or simply spending time with them, these horses are a huge part of my day-to-day routine. Alongside them, I care for a variety of animals, including chickens, ducks, and more, each of which brings its own charm to our farm.

I understand how difficult it can be to get away for a vacation while ensuring that your animals are well cared for.

That’s what inspired me to start my farm-sitting business. With my experience working in horse barns, managing a pet store, and earning an agriculture diploma, I know how important it is to maintain routines and give animals the care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s a short visit or an extended stay, I’m here to help take the stress out of leaving your animals behind.
